On 22nd April 2019, a Group of Interior Design students from the First City University College visited the Signature Kitchen HQ at Kota Damansara for an educational trip.

The students, who all are in their first year of study, were given a presentation on Signature Kitchen’s company background, product knowledge and industry insights, before being taken on a tour of the showroom.

During the presentation, Signature Kitchen’s Senior Manager of Sales Operations, Mr Emkay explained and shared knowledge about kitchen cabinets components, fittings and accessories, kitchen functionality, efficiency on work triangle and kitchen space planning. Whereas, Ms Mei Wei from HR Department shared information about the company background and structure. She also shared insights and benefits on working at Signature Kitchen.

Students were then taken on a guided showroom for practical learning, with our kitchen expert explaining in detail the issues involved in the kitchen planning and the coordination work required between all parties. This was followed by a Q&A to allow the students to clarify any questions they had.

Over the years, Signature Kitchen continues to lead in the kitchen industry with its commitment to the education of the next generation of designers by providing opportunities for students to obtain practical knowledge in kitchen design, functionality, and a better understanding of the kitchen and wardrobe production processes that they can later apply to their own design projects in future, in addition to career opportunities in the industry.
